The location was excellent and we spent a wonderful 4 days/nights in Copenhagen. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were as advertised, even maybe slightly bigger than what we thought. We understood that almost all accommodation in Copenhagen offer small rooms - everything was just fine although we were immediately amused at the slim style twin beds (did alot of travellling but never seen such narrow beds. We laughed about that but realize that Copenhagen furnishings are ultra modern and this slim design is probably more in fashion nowadays :) The breakfast was wonderful and the coffee pretty good quality too (VERY important for me too) Our request of twin rooms together was granted & we really appreciated that as we travelled as 4 female friends together :) leaving our husbands/family behind in Greece for the first time :) Although there were a few pubs close by it did not disturb us at all - as we did see there was a lot of people/night life just next door. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and Danish people who work in hospitality were all so lovely. We would recommend this hotel to friends and family of course and would choose to stay again :)

My room was very comfortable, clean and spacious for a single bed room. It was a quiet room at the back of the hotel. The location was perfect. It is a 10 minute walk from the central station and easy to get to using the train from the airport. I was able to walk to many of the sights from my hotel. If I had to take the train and metro, those stations are close to the hotel and easy to find. Breakfast was plentiful and had many choices. The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. I like that the hotel has umbrellas for the guests to use if it is raining outside. The lobby is comfortable to sit in and people watch or even to have a drink from the lobby bar, which is not big at all but well stocked. Overall I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and when I go back to Copenhagen I will be staying here again.

This was a great find! We were travelling through Denmark by train, so it suited us, being close to the main station. We liked its position, close to the Tivoli Gardens, the Town Hall square and the main shopping street. The hotel staff in reception were all extremely friendly and welcoming and the breakfast team were brilliant. Breakfast was very good indeed and we loved the fact the breakfast room was up on the top (6th) floor. Great views. Our room didn’t have much of a view, but was very quiet indeed. The room was well appointed with a sofa for relaxing and tea and coffee making facilities. Staff at reception were great at providing anything we had run out of. Our bed was extremely comfortable and we slept soundly the three nights we spent at the Square. Loved the cool vibe in the lobby, with the relaxed seating and the fab music!

I was worried about booking a single room because I had a big suitcase and I can feel claustrophobic sometimes, but was so surprised with the clever but compact space design in the room. I didn't feel it was small for a one person stay. Everything about this hotel was perfect. I moved here for one night because the first hotel I was at was unavailable for all my dates - I wish I'd stayed here from the start. The staff are SO fabulous, the bathroom is spacious and clean and the heated floors were an added bonus - a great sleep and finally a room with good lighting! I will be back here for sure. Highly recommend for solo travellers! Would love to have seen what the larger rooms were like - and I will next time! :)

The Square is a good clean hotel. We found the staff to be friendly and it is in a very good location, especially for Tivoli Gardens, although this shut through the winter... The location is at the very end of one of the main shopping streets in Copenhagen and also right next to a Metro station. Breakfast is extremely expensive, but commensurate with most food and drink in Copenhagen!
